While this match should not entirely be made the basis of how Ginebra will fare in this conference it would be nice to get that first win. My pre-con prayer is that all of them will remain healthy para competitive sila all the way. Also, I have my reservations sa mga latest "acquisitions" ng team but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt at this point. Let the games begin!  |

so exciting trade rumor full off season for the gins. now it's game time. siguradong gigil ang BGK tom dahil sa 0-4 sweep nila against alaska. importante din talaga ang import factor this confy. storey isn't the import type go to guy. pero kung magfit sya as supporting role hell yeah! good for us.. goodluck BGK. |

mabagal yung 33-year old na import.. but i see the reason why we got him.. he may not be my type.. but he does dirty things inside.. the toughness we lacked last season against SMB series with Noel.. is the answer right now... storey might be the answer...
well.... 33 points is not yet all... but he may have tough games ahead...

Storey may have started the game slow but he picked up on his intensity nung second half. 33 points and 16 rebounds. Not bad for his first game. What I liked about him is the fact that he can play defense as well, and may rebound siya. And he knows when to shoot and when to pass. He actually reminds me of Chris King (sa intensity nung eyes niya) although his face looks more formidable because of his "battle" scars  I wasn't worried actually with his 8-point output after the first half. Our local players can handle the offense aspect nung game. I have that much faith in them considering that our guys are healthy now. If he could be consistent in grabbing those rebounds, the offense of the local players will follow. It was an exciting first game for the team as a whole. At least we started on the right track. I'm praying there'll be no more major setbacks for them this confe. |
